ProCoat® Wet Edge™ Retarder is designed to extend the open time of any water-based wood floor finishes and RadCoat® UV finishes, helping to prevent lap marks, streaking, and uneven flow during application. This retarder will treat between 8 and 16 gallons.
When heat, air movement, or low humidity cause your waterborne finish to flash too quickly, Wet Edge™ Retarder helps you stay in control.
Just adding 1 oz. per gallon extends the wet edge, giving your finish more time to level for a smoother, more consistent application. Best of all, Wet Edge™ works only during application, then evaporates WITH the water, so it won't soften the cured finish or add VOCs.
